Step-by-Step: Putting on Knee-High Compression Stockings

Choose a preferred language

Fold the open part of the stocking over the outer edge and scrunch it down. Place your foot inside of the stocking and begin pulling it up your leg. Reach down and straighten any area where the stocking bunched on your foot or ankle. Continue pulling the stocking straight up your leg. Straighten any area where the stocking bunched on your lower leg. Using your index and middle fingers, measure the space between the top of your stocking and kneecap to make sure it is only two fingertips long. Reach down and slightly pull the front of the stocking away from your big toe.
