Sweet Potato Dip

Try this as a dip for flatbread, pita chips, or carrot sticks.

Ingredients

  • 1 large sweet potato

  • 1 tsp. honey

  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp. Cajun seasoning, salt free or no salt added

  • 1/8 tsp. sea salt

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake sweet potato for 45 minutes or until completely cooked and soft. Let cool completely. Remove skin from sweet potato. In a food processor fitted with a standard blade, puree with honey, cinnamon, Cajun seasoning, and salt.

Serves eight. A serving is 2 tablespoons. Each serving contains about 40 calories, 0 g fat (0 g saturated fat, 0 g trans fat), 0 mg cholesterol, 45 mg sodium, 9 g carbohydrates, 3 g sugar, 1 g fiber, and 1 g protein.
